Beverly Murphy

“When I was a little girl, I would envy the ‘supposed’ life of the movie stars or Miss America--carefree, traveling, driving nice cars, wearing beautiful clothes and stunning jewelry, having fun, being recognized for their accomplishments and earning a great income,” says Beverly Murphy, laughing. “Thanks to BeautiControl, that has been my life!”

Beverly didn’t always have that freedom that so many of today’s women long for. “Before my daughter’s birth, I worked mostly at clerical type jobs, moving on the average every ten to twelve months because of my husband’s job. This made it hard to get a raise or a promotion, or even make lasting friends.”

When returning home for a high school reunion, Beverly found BeautiControl. “My mom knew a Consultant, and we booked a party,” she says, “I loved the products, the concept of helping other women look and feel better, and the idea of a home-based business that would allow me flexibility.”

BeautiControl was the answer to Beverly’s needs. “I really needed something in my life for me, that would provide some stability when we moved so often because of my husband’s job. I could take this business with me!”

When Beverly attended her first National Conference and was named a Top 50 Seller
she realized this business could give her more than just a little extra income each month. “I realized that if I could be among the Top 50 sellers without even trying, what
could happen if I set goals and worked just a little harder?” she says. Since that last convention, Beverly has achieved much more, including being named among the million dollar earners in 2000.

Beverly was asked to do makeup for a photo shoot by CBS. “Imagine my excitement in doing the camera makeup with BeautiControl products for golf legends and a CBS Sports announcer. It was absolutely a great feeling of achievement, thanks to BeautiControl.”

With BeautiControl Beverly and her family have traveled the world. “My husband has traveled with me to Spain and St. Thomas, plus I earned a trip to Germany and Switzerland. My son was able to go to Cancun with me, and my daughter was my guest to Maui and Monte Carlo. On the trip to Paris, I was delighted to bring my mother. Those are memories we will cherish forever.”

Beverly says her motivation comes from knowing that the products and opportunity can
change the lives of others– in their outward appearance, lifestyle and personal growth. “I’m motivated by the joy of it all – the joy of setting and reaching a goal, earning a great reward and the joy of watching my Consultants grow into Directors and reach their goals.”
