“I try to imagine my life down a different path and all I have as a vision is the traditional corporate route of 40 hours a week, plus commute and not having enough time to be there for my family to protect and watch over them. Now, I can cook a real meal instead of picking up McDonald’s and really teach my children the principles of success by living them,” says Charmaine Spadoni.

Life has changed dramatically for Charmaine since joining BeautiControl in 1984. Before BeautiControl, she was a fl ight attendant, and then went into advertising sales. However, she didn’t have much time with her family. Charmaine wanted to stay at home with her baby Justin, while still contributing to the household income and her family’s future.

“All I could think about was ‘what if this is my chance and I let it slip through my fingers?’ Here it was the greatest opportunity anyone had offered me.”

“My friend and I saw something about BeautiControl in a magazine and quickly called the phone number for a free color analysis. After 20 minutes of explaining reasons why I couldn’t afford to join BeautiControl, I realized my excuse was fear. Not having the money hadn’t stopped me before when I wanted to do something, Charmaine says, “All I could think about was ‘what if this is my chance and I let it slip through my fingers?’ Here it was the greatest opportunity anyone had offered me.”

Charmaine joined BeautiControl that day and now has the freedom and flexibility she always dreamed of. “I haven’t had to ask permission to design my schedule around my priorities for 24 years. I am the boss!”

Because of BeautiControl, Charmaine has shown her children a work ethic they may not have known before. She says her children are positive examples for their friends. “Their attitude and their work ethic have come from watching me. The compassion they have for others comes from my example of sharing the BeautiControl opportunity.”

For nearly a quarter of a century, Charmaine has been enjoying the rewards that come along with her BeautiControl career. “I’ve had a new car every two to three years for 24 years. And they have been beautiful cars – my favorite was a 750 BMW. We have lived in a street of model dream homes and now have a second home in Palm Springs, so we can escape to the sun.”

“But most of all, I’m thankful I was able to drive my kids to and from school and be available whenever they needed me. I love my job… I love my life… I am forever grateful!”
