Time with her family has always been important to Evelyn Coleman. BeautiControl enabled her to quit her stressful career and spend more time with her children.

Before joining BeautiControl, she spent several years and several thousand dollars earning a Masters Degree in Education. After having two children, Evelyn decided to leave the teaching field and pursue a career in real estate. She chose that field because through her research she determined that women earned more money and had more control in sales than any other career. However, after selling real estate and obtaining a Broker’s license, she realized that real estate was a night, weekend and holiday career. Evelyn was not in control, her clients were.

She had been introduced to direct sales earlier and realized that the concept of marketing a product to a consumer was excellent. She also realized the income potential; however, she had one problem – she couldn’t find the right product or the right company.

Then, one morning in 1983 as she was scanning the local newspaper, she saw an advertisement featuring BeautiControl’s unique services. She picked up the phone and called for an appointment. One hour later, she knew she had found the right product and the right company. Evelyn had found the company that would take her out of the stressful real estate business. She signed on the spot. “It was a great call I made that day,” she says.

Attending her first national conference, Celebration, as a new Consultant was the turning point in her decision to leave the real estate industry and go full-time with BeautiControl. That’s when she began setting goals and making those goals a reality. Evelyn saw the career opportunity come alive and she knew she would never look back – she had found her home.

She realized the future was not only hers in BeautiControl but for all others who dared to dream. “Lives are changed daily with this business…either through the products or through the opportunity.”

That was more than 20 years ago…and the future has never been brighter. Everyday, Evelyn encourages individuals to be determined to change their lives. “ Women can stay at home with their children and earn an executive level income, be recognized and rewarded, and drive a new car every three years,” she says.

Helping others climb to new heights is her passion. She loves sharing BeautiControl because it is a message of hope and inspiration. “I live the American Dream each day through the BeautiControl opportunity. Being in control of my time and my income is living the American dream. Traveling the world is the American dream. Building a business that pays residual income is living the American dream,” she says.
