CanadaBeautiControl Success Stories “I had always lived a great corporate lifestyle, but it was all provided to me by my successful husband,” says Faye Powell. “When I started earning my own money through BeautiControl, and got my own company car, my husband loved it all the way to the bank!” Faye says that her husband was always a “conservative” person when it came to finances and laughs, “He thought money needed to be banked, and I thought it needed to be spent!” She says that she’s had a ball for the last 24 years getting to spend her BeautiControl money. It still makes Faye smile to think of all the wonderful Directors and consultants she has in her unit, and all the trips, diamonds, furs, cars and money they’ve all enjoyed! “I really smile when I think of how I have helped so many women achieve all of these things through the wonderful opportunity of BeautiControl,” she says. “I am rounding the corner to 80, and I look around at my peers not having very interesting lives. Not me!” she says, “I am going to be out there catching the excitement until I am 125!” “I am a very positive person, and I love my job,” says Faye. “At the start of my career, I studied all of the positive mental attitude speakers. I am a student of Dr. Napoleon Hill especially. I set goals, make a plan, but most importantly, just decide to do it.”
Faye calls BeautiControl her own ‘corporate utopia’ because it is so different from the corporate world she was used to. “BeautiControl is simply and totally utopia—a contrast from the high-powered and stressful corporate world of my husband’s where everyone always worried about getting fired and was held to corporate hours and the calendar.” Faye knew from a young age that she would be a teacher, having come from a family of teachers. Her expectation was, that like her family, she would have to stretch a dollar to earn a living being a teacher. “The big surprise is that I am still teaching and making a lot of money, and get to purchase wonderful products!”
