Lynn Budjenska

Lynn Budjenska, who grew up in Macon, Ga. was single and down to her last dollar when she found BeautiControl in 1983. Her dream at that time was to get married and have children, and start a homebased business that would allow her to be there for her children. She also needed to make $3,000 a month. “I thought if I could just make $3,000 a month I would be rich.”

Looking back on her years with BeautiControl, Lynn is elated to see her dreams have become reality. She married a Dallas police officer and had two children, Nicole and Matt. As for her income, she has far exceeded her dreams with a six-figure annual income.

Lynn says her early days with BeautiControl were so special because she was able to watch her children take their first steps right in her home office. “I was able to be there every day after school and almost never missed a school activity,” she says.

As a result, she believes her children have a sense of stability that has enabled them to succeed at school and become positive, confident young adults. Her BeautiControl business will pay for their college, and has allowed her to help her children pursue their dreams and interests.

Lynn promoted to Senior National Executive Director in 2003, but her drive to succeed began much earlier. At age 11, Lynn discovered she had a talent for starting businesses and making money. It was then that she started a babysitting club for children in her neighborhood. With hard work and superior grades, Lynn skipped the 12th grade and started college at 16.

After college, Lynn got a job training dolphins, and on her days off she sold oxygen and CPR equipment, working on straight commission. It was this job that cemented her passion for selling. “It was sales boot camp,” she says, “For every 45 calls I would make everyday, I would get three appointments.” She learned the discipline of daily activity and the value of contacting people consistently.

After attending Leadership Conference in 1984, Lynn realized, “The goal to become a BeautiControl Director was attainable and up to me!” Lynn quickly built her BeautiControl business by setting daily goals and visualizing her success. Within her first seven months, she had 40 Consultants in her Unit and earned the career level of BeautiControl Director.
